ESPRO’s CFPG Pre-Pump Protection Filter Series is specifically designed to protect critical components of chemical pump systems, such as bellows and diaphragms, by capturing large particles and broken wafer fragments before they can enter the pump. Installed upstream of the pump, the CFPG filter prevents damage to key components, ensuring smooth operation and reducing maintenance requirements. Its simplified connector design facilitates easy integration into existing systems, streamlining the installation process.
Constructed from PFA for both the filter media and shell, the CFPG series provides excellent chemical resistance, making it ideal for use in harsh environments involving corrosive acids, alkali solvents, and anti-corrosion agents. With a filter area of 50 cm² and a removal rating of 60 μm, the CFPG filter ensures effective filtration of large particles while maintaining a low-pressure drop.
The CFPG series operates efficiently at temperatures up to 180ºC and can withstand a maximum operating differential pressure of 4.0 bar at 20ºC and 1.0 bar at 180ºC, making it suitable for high-temperature and high-pressure applications.
Applications for the CFPG Pre-Pump Protection Filter include semiconductor manufacturing, flat panel displays, data storage, and wet etching and cleaning processes, where effective particle removal is critical to maintaining pump longevity and system reliability.
